Here is stuff I found on Internet that I've found to be helpful during my journey.
- Browser addons

Yomitan is a popup dictionary which translates one word at a time. It has been immensely helpful in understanding German words. It shows the base version of a word, how different words have been combined to make a bigger word etc.
It is helpful when I want help understanding some words in a German sentence, but don't want a translation for the entire sentence.
Yomitan also has the ability to send words directly to Anki, but I haven't used that feature yet.

For when I need help translating complete sentence(s). It supports offline translations using Bergamot (which also powers offline translations in Firefox), which are pretty good.
